
1st Generation - Two Brothers
After their service during World War II, Charlie and Huby Patterson rented space in an ice plant in downtown Dallas. It was there
they started Patterson Brothers Meat Company in 1946.
2nd Generation - Dennis A. Schirato
In 1966, the Patterson Brothers hired family member, Dennis Schirato, to join them in company management. Patterson Brothers Meat Company quickly grew into
one of Dallas's finest independent meat companies.
In the mid 1970's, Charlie bought out his brother's ownership. The following years would begin the transition to the Schirato family for management of the
family business.
3rd Generation - Two Brothers
In 1992, Charlie's grandsons, Michael and Matthew Schirato, were brought in to help build the company brand and to maintain the quality that
Patterson Meat Company had always offered.
In 1997, the company name changed to Patterson Food Processors, which better describes the range of services and products the company provides.
